The district points are updated as of July 18th, however, recently completed races may not be in the tally. At the end of the season all ’08 results will be accounted for (Roddi Lega will likely win the whole series with a go-zillion points because he controls the points system BRRUUUU HHAAA HAAAA).”

From the office of Roddi Lega regarding District Points:
"Well, what is happening is that I have been hard at work on them, except there has been a few gremlins with the system. The programmer and I have been trying to work them out. At one point I was about 80% up to date, but then we realized that the program was not adding points up properly, so I had to start over again. You might imagine the words that were thrown around when I found out I had to start again (swear words here). Right now I think we are on the last gremlin, which is a glitch when riders race in both cruiser and 20” categories on the same day.
Once I get this straightened out it’s going to be 16hrs/day of plugging in the points until I get them out to you. That’s it from the incredibly fun office of the ABA. Thank you all and good day."

No rain this time, just hot, hot heat and the racing was just as fierce as 359 riders converged on the track of champions for stop number 4 on the best series around; the Alberta Provincial Cup. Results are now posted.

Mother Nature must be a BMXer because for the second Provincial in a row torrential downpours threatened to cancel the race but the sun peeked out just long enough to complete the entire race. Another excellent turnout of 317 riders makes it all worth it. Stony Plain did a super job with the facilities and volunteers and ran a very organized weekend. See everyone in just 1 week for Provincial #4 in Airdrie.
